Saturn Transits into Aries Forecasts for Each Sign & the Hidden Aquarius Advantage in Your Birth Chart
Saturn transited into the fiery sign of Aries on May 26, 2025. On July 13, 2025, Saturn will retrograde back into Pisces on September 2, 2025. On November 28, 2025, Saturn will go direct and go back into Aries on February 15, 2026. Below you’ll see how Saturn in Aries has a hidden advantage for the house of Aquarius in your chart along with forecasts for each (rising) sign.
Saturn takes about 2 ½ years to transit through a sign and will be in Aries until April 14, 2028.
Saturn is the main destiny planet with the slowest orbit of all the traditional planets, so when he changes signs, it’s important!
Saturn in Aries is a Bit of Mismatch
Aries is the first sign of the zodiac, and so Saturn is beginning another cycle through the zodiac. Unfortunately, Saturn in Aries is not the most compatible combination, but it may inspire you to double down on your anti-aging routines! (Aging is Saturn’s domain but Saturn in Aries says ‘no thanks’ to that and fights it as much as possible).
The sign of Aries is youthful and about beginnings, and Saturn is about maturity and aging. Saturn is slow and cautious, gradual and enduring, but Aries is fast and courageous, impatient and a risk taker. As you probably already know, Mars and Saturn are enemies, and Mars rules the sign of Aries. So, you can see how uncomfortable Saturn is while occupying the sign of his enemy!
The Hidden Advantage of Saturn Transiting in Enemy Territory
However, according to Jaimini astrology, the little-known benefit of transiting Saturn in Aries is he is sign-aspecting his own sign of Aquarius.
When Saturn Aspects His Own Sign of Aquarius
When a planet occupies or sign-aspects one of its own signs, it’s called Jaimini’s Second Strength in Jaimini astrology. Jaimini’s Second Strength is this: Jupiter and Mercury’s transits always help to manifest the significations of the house they occupy and aspect. When any other planet occupies or aspects his own sign and house, he becomes a manifestor planet, too.
The aspect rules for Jaimini astrology are: The fixed signs of Taurus, Leo, Scorpio and Aquarius sign-aspect the moveable/cardinal signs of Aries, Cancer, Libra and Capricorn, except when right next to each other. And the dual signs, Gemini, Virgo, Sagittarius, and Pisces, aspect only each other.
For example, Saturn in Aries sign-aspects Aquarius, Scorpio, and Leo, but not Taurus because Taurus is right next to Aries.
Why Saturn ‘Debilitated’ in Aries Isn’t Bad
When Saturn was transiting the sign of Pisces for the 2 ½ years, he wasn’t sign-aspecting either of his own signs of Capricorn and Aquarius because as mentioned above, planets in the dual signs of Gemini, Virgo, Sagittarius, and Pisces, aspect only each other.
So even though Saturn in Aries struggles to fulfill all his responsibilities in many ways, in the Jaimini system of astrology, we see that Saturn still produces significant beneficial effects in the house ruled by his own sign of Aquarius.
In 2 ½ years, when Saturn next transits the fixed sign of Taurus, he will sign-aspect the moveable sign of Capricorn, his other home sign. Saturn aspects one of his own signs, Capricorn or Aquarius, when transiting through all fixed and moveable signs.
Are you still with me?
If you’re not an astrology nerd like me, you can just skip down to the forecasts and the gifts of Saturn. But if you are, read on!
Even though Jupiter and Mercury help when transiting any signs, they create Jaimini’s Second Strength when transiting the dual signs. Suppose Mercury is transiting the sign of Pisces, the sign of his debilitation. In that case, he also sign-aspects his own signs of Gemini and Virgo, helping those houses fulfill their promises.
The same is true for Jupiter in Virgo or Gemini, where he is traditionally weak. He also sign-aspects his own signs of Sagittarius and Pisces, strengthening those houses and helping them manifest their meanings.
So, back to Saturn! Let’s see how Saturn in Aries will focus his significant manifesting power on the sign of Aquarius in your birth chart. What will you be creating together?
FORECASTS: How Saturn in Aries Will Benefit You
For this forecast, only the Rising Sign is used. If you don’t know your rising sign, you must know your birth time to find out what it is. You can get your birth chart HERE. Your Rising Sign is the box with the diagonal line through it. I explain how to read the chart on that same web page.
Aries Rising:
Saturn in Aries is sign-aspecting and manifesting your 11th house of income, collaborations, side ventures, and peers. These things will support you in developing your ‘strength of self-in-action’ and help you say no to anything that doesn’t serve you any longer. You become conscious of your time and willingly narrow your focus to do the things you genuinely love.
Taurus Rising:
Saturn in Aries is sign-aspecting and manifesting your 10th house of career and sphere of influence. This could be a time of rise in your career. Interestingly, I’ve noticed that women’s 10th house is activated when they marry and have children. Your emotional security and ability to contemplate how the divine speaks to you in all areas of your life will be strengthened.
Gemini Rising:
Saturn in Aries is sign-aspecting and manifesting your 9th house of higher knowledge, spirituality, other cultures, universities, and your father. If you are in school or want to return to school to get a higher degree, now is the time. You could become much more disciplined about your spiritual practices, and deepen your relationship with your father or father figures in your life.
Cancer Rising:
Saturn in Aries is sign-aspecting and manifesting the 8th house of your partner’s resources, the occult sciences, other people’s money, and inheritance from the dead. Your emotional security and ability to contemplate the divine and ‘read between the lines’ will be strengthened. Saturn is transiting your 10th house in Aries and this is when you do the most important thing you’ll do in your career.
Leo Rising:
Saturn in Aries is sign-aspecting and manifesting your 7th house of partners and foreign countries. You may get serious about a love relationship and get married, or you could travel to or move to a foreign country (or both). Your ‘strength of social actions’ is also being developed to a higher level (you have more influence in your social circle). If you are a YouTuber, this is when you could gain real traction.
Virgo Rising:
Saturn in Aries is sign-aspecting and manifesting your 6th house of overcoming obstacles and enemies from within and without. Saturn aspecting helps you to manifest a healthy diet and exercise habits. You will increase your ability to be, and feel, more worthwhile to yourself and everyone around you.
Libra Rising:
Saturn in Aries is sign-aspecting and manifesting your 5th house of children, creativity, spiritual practice, honors, and the mind. The 5th house is one of the great fortune houses, and if you’ve been working on a creative project sporadically, Saturn will help you stay focused until it’s done. Or you may have a child, be recognized at work, or hone and focus your mind through mantra sastra (chanting mantras).
Scorpio Rising:
Saturn in Aries is sign-aspecting and manifesting your 4th house. Saturn is naturally a loner, and you may be more of a homebody than usual during the next 2 ½ years. Saturn also rules over nature, so spending time outdoors would be a balm for your soul, even if you get a new home or update your current home. If you’re in school, Saturn manifesting this house will help you to complete your degree. You may get a pet to love that helps you center your life from your heart or buy a new car.
Sagittarius Rising:
Saturn in Aries is sign-aspecting and manifesting your 3rd house of skills. In your work, you will feel good about being a part of the team. Your siblings can feature prominently in your life now, and you’ll have the focus and energy to tackle that honey-do list. It’s a wonderful time to add structure to your daily routine to increase your productivity and happiness. If you are an artist, the next 2 ½ years is supportive for presenting your work to the public.
Capricorn Rising:
Saturn in Aries is sign-aspecting and manifesting your 2nd house. Your wealth (money, investments, knowledge, close friends, and family) will increase slowly but surely through your efforts during Saturn’s transit. You may simplify your diet and gain a career advisor who makes a significant difference. Cultivating your friendships will be rewarding, and you become more secure in the value you offer others.
Aquarius Rising:
Saturn in Aries is sign-aspecting and manifesting your 1st house. You become more aware of the passing of time. Like Aries rising above, you learn to manage your time better and say no to anything that doesn’t support you in doing what you truly love. You may also get into the best physical shape of your life. You get back on your path, and your unique identity is further developed.
Pisces Rising:
Saturn in Aries is sign-aspecting and manifesting your 12th house. You have many insights and grow emotionally and your ability to understand the spiritual underpinnings of your life. You could join a religious community or spend more time in solitude writing a book or on research. It could be when you finally take an overdue vacation.
Now that you know your basic theme of manifestation for Saturn’s trip through Aries, what other benefits will you gain from this 2 ½ year transit?
The Clock is Always Running
Saturn is one of the great destiny planets (Jupiter is the other) because he narrows the path and forces us to focus on the areas of life that need development. He brings success after much work and by saying no to anything that takes you off course.
Time is limited, and Saturn makes us aware of how much time we may have left on earth. We really can’t do everything we want to do at one time, so we must choose what helps us become fully who we are meant to be.
So, if Saturn limits to refine, what hidden gifts emerge from those limits?
The Gifts of Saturn
Saturn’s gifts rarely show up in shiny, pretty, ribbon-tied boxes—yet they’re the treasures that shape us most by helping you to:
- Endure the pain outside your control—(like aging!) and grow stronger for it.
- Detach gracefully from life’s highs and lows, keeping your center steady.
- Create in solitude, shaping work that outlasts the moment.
- Fulfill your duty even when the easy path tempts you away.
- Tackle the dull, tedious, & repetitive steps every success demands.
- Delay gratification with steady “won’t-power” that protects your bigger goals.
- Persevere through doubt and setbacks – slow and steady wins the race
