The Full Moon gives (the New Moon takes), but can it give when it’s with Saturn? Well, let’s look at what the Moon is and what Saturn is and see how they can possibly work together to give something of value.
The Moon is considered to be weak and unhappy in the sign of Capricorn. Why? The Moon is a feminine receptive planet that “looks all around” using the imagination to see the best opportunities and to imagine better circumstances than the current circumstances.
(By the way, the Moon is full in Capricorn on June 28th).
But Saturn “looks down,” which means he is looking at survival issues. Do we have what we need to survive on this difficult planet; are we realistic about what it takes to get our needs met? This is what Saturn is about.
Saturn is in Capricorn right now which makes him very strong and that is a good thing because when he is strong, he helps us to handle hardship, aging, sickness, our essential aloneness, the fleeting quality of time, and ultimately, our mortality. All the things we hate!
If you are dealing with something very hard in your life right now, the Full Moon in Capricorn with Saturn will bring to light what you need to make what you’re enduring more bearable. This full Moon is especially important if your ascendant sign is Sagittarius because the full Moon is in the critical second house in your birth chart.
You will be reflecting on whether or not you are getting your needs met, not just emotional needs, but your financial security needs and your need for close relationships. If you are not getting one of these important needs met, remember how you’ve made it through the many hardships of your life so far. You can feel good about your ability to persevere and be tough when life required it because somehow you got what you needed when you needed it, or you wouldn’t be here now.
Saturn is our fears also, and you may find that you are worrying about your future security needs, but luckily, Mercury and Jupiter, the two planets of manifestation is also influencing your 2nd house and ideas will come to you on how to do this.
Here is a great book that is reassuring and full of know how on how to make the most of your resources:

The one thing you can’t allow yourself to do is dwell on your own personal lacks, faults, flaws and imperfections. Unless you are in a 12-Step program and are doing the 4th and 5th steps* with a sponsor, that is. If you do this to yourself in spite of your best intentions, deciding to love and accept yourself completely anyway is the only sane thing to do!

CAPRICORN RISING: The full Moon is in your first house. This is a great time to reward yourself with something new that you’ve been wanting. A good time to reflect upon what you need to maintain your well-being, mental balance and physical health. This is not a relationship house, it’s a self-house, so you can focus just on yourself and bring something new into your life that would be emotionally fulfilling and energizing (such as treating yourself to something practical like some new clothes for work). This only happens once a year, so tonight and tomorrow, while the Moon is bright is the time.
AQUARIUS RISING: The full Moon is in your 12th house. This is a house of expenses, so you may have some expenses that are related to your mother (Moon), or just money that you spend on something that would meet an emotional need. This is also a house where we need to spend time alone in order to further an interest that requires solitude (such as writing a book). The full Moon gives, so it will help you to see if there is something you need to let go of in order to better meet your needs. Perhaps you can clean out a closet; you’ll find something that has been missing for a long time.
PISCES RISING: The full Moon is in your 11th house. The 11th house is your income from your job or business. A new idea for passive income, or you may have figured out how to meet an emotional need for your clients or customers and you are now enjoying a steady stream of new and returning clients/customers. If not, this is a great time to reflect on how you can increase your income, you are sure to come up with a great idea or two. Jupiter, your ruling planet, will be helping to make this happen for you.
ARIES RISING: The full Moon is in your 10th house. The tedious and boring stuff (Saturn) you’d been doing for a long time now will be paying off for you. There may be a new opportunity, or perhaps you are acknowledged by your boss for your contribution. Being acknowledged for your work is one of the emotional needs we all have. If your boss or co-workers don’t say anything to you today, why not write out all of your accomplishments recently for yourself? Or maybe write down the good reasons you are doing the boring parts of your job or business. People who are willing to do that without complaint always have job security.
TAURUS RISING: The full Moon is in your 9th house. The 9th house is the house of spirituality, higher knowledge, marriage, and is a general house of good fortune. The full Moon here could have you deciding to go back to school to add to your knowledge, or you become more devoted to your spiritual path and practices. If you’re married, you will enjoy being married to your spouse and if you’re single, you could meet someone at school, a seminar, or a meeting where other like-minded people gather to deepen their spiritual understanding.
GEMINI RISING: The full Moon is in your 8th house. The 8th house is the house of your partners resources, the house of other peoples money, loans, insurance, the occult sciences (astrology, for instance) and the intimate bond you have with your partner. If there is more you can do to strengthen your bond with your partner or get more from your insurance, you may be struck by the inspiration to act on that right away.
CANCER RISING: The full Moon is in your 7th house of partners. This is a good time to focus on your partner and enjoy your relationship. The great thing about Saturn is that he is grateful for what he gets and doesn’t waste time chasing an unrealistic ideal in love relationships. If you’re in a relationship, you will be grateful that you have a partner to get through the hard times with. If you’re single, you may be realizing that getting what you need is more important than getting what you want in love.
LEO RISING: The full Moon is in your 6th house. This is a good time to think about re-committing to your health and fitness routines. The full Moon will help you to see the good results of whatever you’ve been doing so far. You are amazed how much better you feel in your skin when you are committed to building and maintaining your health through your daily routines. The full Moon in Capricorn can help you go to the next level of difficulty in your workout, or maybe you decide to try intermittent fasting (fasting is a Saturn thing).
VIRGO RISING: The full Moon is in your 5th house. This is the house of fun, creativity, and children. Having fun with your children, perhaps doing something creative together, would be very satisfying to you now and fun for them. If you don’t have children, then a creative project would be fulfilling to you, and/or thinking about how creativity in other areas of your life have been bringing you more fulfillment.
LIBRA RISING: The full Moon is in your 4th house. This is the other important house for the Moon as the Moon loves being in the 4th house of our inner emotional life. Even if you had the mother from hell, you will be able to see the gifts she gave you in the light of this full Moon. It’s a great time to relax at home and enjoy your family or your own company. Saturn has been in your 4th house since last December and you’ve been feeling more alone than you like to feel, but now you are realizing that you can be alone and still be happy.
SCORPIO RISING: The full Moon is in your 3rd house. Siblings, neighbors, and communication is highlighted for you. Working on something together, especially something difficult that requires perseverance makes you happy. Your siblings, neighbors, and teammates appreciate your reliability and down-to-earth way of looking at life. The full Moon here can give you that quiet happiness that comes from working side by side with people with a common goal
